A high-grade, loose leaf Pu-erh red tea from the Yunnan Province of southern China.
Traditionally buried underground to give their unique earthy taste, Pu-erh teas are nowadays moistened after fermentation and buried for over a year in dark cellars.
Woody, twisted leaves have a dark brown appearance and amber flecks. The liquor is a rich red cup with a damp woodland earthiness aroma. Take a sip, close your eyes and you’re in the New Forest… I can see the deer.
