We're absolutely thrilled to be able to offer this stunning maracaturra from the famed El Socorro in Guatemala. Producer Diego La Cerda has developed a reputation for producing consistently high quality coffees, His hard work being rewarded with multiple high placed finishes in Guatemala's Cup of Excellence competition.
A third generation farmer, Diego has introduced a host of new processes and coffee varieties, including this maracaturra - A naturally occuring hybrid of maragogype and caturra.
Sourced through our pals at Caribbean Goods, this coffee is a sweet, floral, balanced and yet complex coffee that reminds us of peach iced tea, orange wine and decadent caramel shortbread.
