With notes of juicy apples and rhubarb and custard, this washed lot from Francisco Morales reminds us of the best bits of the traditional sweet shop!

Francisco and his wife have been growing coffee at La Esperanza for over 40 years. The early years were incredibly challenging but thanks to a lot of hard work and dedication, their business has grown to a stage where it can provide employment opportunities and a stable income not just for the entire Morales family but also many others in the surrounding area.

La Esperanza translates to 'The Hope', which is a perfect reflection of how important coffee production is to Francisco, and he has been rewarded for his commitment and a never ending appetite for learning and development with a number of prizes in regional competition.
