If there's one thing we know about our customers, it's that you lot LOVE a coffee from Burundi: With that in mind, we've put a lot of hard work into finding some new coffees through our import partners Volcafe to keep you happy!
This washed coffee comes from the Bayevi washing station, which means 'parents' in Kurundi, and reflects not just the generatations of families who produce coffees in the area but the history of JNP Coffee founder Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian, whose family roots trace back to the region.
With tonnes of crisp, mouth watering red apple, creamy tropical vibes that reminds us of papaya and a delicate black tea florality and pops of blackcurrant on the finish, this washed Burundi has already become a firm favourite here at the roastery!
