We are so pleased to be able to re-introduce this community produced lot from the Halo Beriti kebele in Yirgacheffe.

Halo Beriti was real stand out coffee from last year and the latest crop is even better, showcasing all the bright blueberry and delicate florals you come to expect from a great naturally processed Ethiopian coffee.

Grown at the seemingly impossibly high altitudes of 2150-2250 metres above sea level, producers from the area surrounding the village sell their cherries locally before being processed by Ephtah Coffee at their 3.5Ha site in Lasela. The cherries are sorted and floated before being allowed to dry for 12-15 days on raised African beds.

As well as purchasing coffees, Ephtah provide a range of additional support to producers, including training in agronomy and risk management.

They also dedicate resources to empowering female producers through their Ama Commitment, providing pre-financing and tailored training schemes with a view to fostering leadership and economic independence for women in the area.

This lot is super complex, bursting with blueberry, tropical lychee, florals, a winey booziness and an indulgent creaminess.
