Sowden SoftBrew™ Tea - model: JAKOB
Designed by Milan-based George Sowden, all-round whizz-kid and good egg, the Jakob teapot combines Italian style with Chinese tradition. The teapot is made from a thick porcelain composite, which gives excellent heat retention, while the hollow-formed handle always remains cool to the touch.
What really sets this brand apart from the competition is the SoftBrew stainless steel filter, which comprises thousands of microscopic holes. This design allows the leaves the space to move freely in the hot water, releasing all their flavour without getting crushed or damaged. The filter is very easy to remove, so that the brew can be separated from the wet tea leaves at the appropriate time to avoid the liquor becoming overly bitter. It's also very easy to clean by simply rinsing it under a tap.
