In our brand new purpose-built training centre we'll offer regular workshops for a maximum of 6 people per session.
We'll include lunch with your choice of dietary requirements (caviar not available!) and some goodies to take away with you in each workshop . You'll benefit from Rin's experience and knowledge of training throughout the UK and improve your skills, whatever your level. And you'll have fun and meet some like-minded coffee enthusiasts!

An introduction of how to get the very best from your espresso machine and grinder.
If you've been bought a flash espresso machine for Xmas and still haven't figured out where to find the on/off button, or are thinking of working in cafe or perhaps have some experience and want to improve and get into good habits, then this really is the course for you.
Based in our bespoke 1st floor barista training facility, we'll take you a step-by-step near-magical and hyper-caffeinated journey through the foundations of being a great barista. Like all our courses, it'll be thorough, lots of fun and extremely practical and hands-on. We have a great new video analysis feature to the course, so you'll really be able to evaluate your progress. The course rolls like this:
- The raw material: Arabica vs Robusta
- Speciality coffee - roasted
- The importance of the grinder
- The key components: grind adjustment, dose-weight to brew-weight ratio, tampers and tamping,
- Extracting the perfect espresso - visual, taste assessment
- Working through a whole drinks list
- Milk production - how to get great micro-foam
- Basic latte art
- A well-earned lie down
A lovely lunch is provided, courtesy of our good friends down the road at Riverbank Catering.
